One of the best places to watch the fireworks is either on the Mass. Ave Bridge or the Longfellow Bridge. Beware of public transportation, the T will undoubtedly be as crowded as ever and surely some roads will be closed to motor vehicles.
The esplanade gets crowded fast! If you plan on celebrating the fourth there, arrive early! Very early.
Check out the Boston Globe’s map before you head out!
